Subject: Disappointment

After having heard DM's and Bowie's latest singles, which I think are great, 
and which will surely help to keep both bands on the charts for the coming
months, I really wonder why Gary can't come up with some interesting music.

Besides the soundtrack for The Unborn, which seems doomed for the vault for a
while, to my bitter disappointment, I that find Gary has lacked fresh ideas,
both in the music and the lyrics.

As some of the other posters, I also agree that there have been one or two
interesting pieces on maybe each of the releases over the last 8 years (Since
The Fury for me.), but it makes the experience sweet and sour: disappointment
about the current release, followed by hope for the next one. This has so far 
been repeated with all releases.

Oddly, unlike others who have posted their album preferences, I rate The Plan 
and the three Tubeway demo/single EP's in my top ten. I like the energy.

Now about videos. I think I've had a chance to see all the Numan videos up to 
and including Change Your Mind, and with the exception of it, I found all of
them to be rather lame. Anyone out there with a complete list of videoclips 
available? If there is an interest, I could post a list of the ones I know 
about (I'll have to sit down in front of the tube for this) and we could then 
add to it.

All I can do now is wait for the noise.
