We had several reviews and pieces in the Digest about it when it came out in early June. It is generally regarded as one of Gary's best live albums to date. >But I have a request, does anyone have the lyrics to 'Bleed', this is the >first time I've heard it and, well, it's sound strikes a special nerve in my >brain. Possible... ;)= If you buy the Sacrifice CD or extended mixes CD you will have the lyrics. Don't have them here with me unfortunately. If you have not heard Sacrifice yet go get a copy now, you'll not regret it if you like "Bleed or AQoF. >Thanks ahead of time, with luck I'll be able to see Gary in concert with-in >my lifetime! Derek reacted rather protective with regards to NUMA about this. I am glad at least some of you understand my point of view. I want Berserker on CD, want to pay whatever it costs (within limits of course), but NUMA does not want to deliver. So I go elsewhere. Is NUMA doing any good at all for Gary I wonder? (By the way is there more to NUMA than Tony and Beryl?) Gary's business is in *bad* shape: limited production facilities, no producer, no airplay, no video's, no contract outside the UK, falling sales, etc. All this just now Gary has found a new promising musical direction. I believe NUMA is satisfied with the money they make by selling whatever they can (compilations, live albums, unplugged, etc.), to the hardcore fans, mainly in the UK. I would rather see Gary producing one real quality album in three years than what he is producing at the moment. The answer to that is yes! My first exposure to a full length Numan LP (of course I had heard "Cars") was my brother's copy of Telekon, which he played on his Audiovox combo 8-track/reciever. I remember not being too impressed with most of it at the age of 11 (although I liked the tunes like "I Am An Agent", "I Die" and that sort), it prompted me to buy a vinyl copy for myself, and the rest is . . . the musical family tree of my record collection! As for any other eight track releases, I do not know for sure. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 30 Jul 1995 09:03:21 -0500 From: David Datta Subject: Parties To: numan Any interest in some simultaneous Gary Numan inspired parties/get-togethers? Kind of like the Kate Bush inspired "Katemas" on her birthday? I could probably host one for folks in the Chicago-Milwaukee corridor (I live 1/2 way between the two cities.) Are they all like that or is this extra special? My Canadian copies have no such messages... Anybody know what Connie Filapello sings in Italian on "BOYS LIKE ME"?,I hear something about the moon and the stars but the rest is unknown to me. On the double cd of Tubeway army /Dance (BEGA 151) there is an extra snippet of song at the end of Tubeway after Remember I was vapour...Don't be a dummy Gary seems to sing .Where does this come from? Finally I'm looking for a video of Gary's : MICROMUSIC. I have The touring principle, the Berserker tour and Shadow man.Anybody know where I can get a copy? Alek, Is this the "Replicas + The Plan" 2CD UK set or is this a special reissue? I ask as a non-Numan fan net friend of mine thought he spotted a "Replicas" only CD in a store in Scotland that was not part of the 2 on 1 or 2CD sets. Does anyone know if this is true? Further details, if it is a new item, would be appreciated.
