My name is Robert Canipe and I ahve been a Numan-addict for 17 years. I enjoy Numan's music for its originality and thoughtfullness as well as its catchy hooks and lyrical satire. i have always been a Philip K. Dick fan and catching the tips of the hat to Dicks writing in Gary's songs was a particular excitment for me. I was in a band playing guitar and keyboards from 1981-1985. Money problems (the lack of) broke up the band and my spirit for playing and writing music. Other than our original stuff and a few Beatles and Oingo Boingo tunes we covered more Numan than anything. "Bombers" "Somethings In The House" and "OD Receiver" brought down the house at more than one college show. I was unaware of any new Numan stuff until recently. I think 1986 is the last time I saw any thing new, but through the help of other fans out there on the WWW, I have been able to get CDs of two IRS albums, several compilation albums with previously unreleased material and even a T-Shirt!! I Thank Them All!! So here's to Gary and may he forever bitch and moan about life, science, metal, cars and films...Its really difficult to believe how much he speaks for all of us.... A New Gary Numan Web Page located at: http://www.geopages.com/Paris/2463/numan.html The Joy Circuit went on line December 4, 1995. Everyone is invited to preview the Joy Circuit and watch it grow. Still in it's early stages, it promises to add and compliment the other Gary Numan web sites that are available in an entirely new and unique way. A new place for Gary Numan fans to visit on their travels through the phenomenon knows as 'the internet'. I hope you like it. Now we have to wait another year to hear the final forms. Oh Well. I can't wait to be able to order direct from NuWorld, I hope that comes to pass. The SACRIFICE section is EXCELLENT!!. I hope Gary continues this section with future projects. I also enjoy Matt H's N-People section (NuZone). For somebody like me, it means alot to see the people behind the man. All for now.
