Gary Numan Digest Sun, 4 Aug 96 Volume 1 : Issue 250 Today's Topics: ADMINISTRIVIA "Extremely Rare Item" Couple of things for sale Extremely RARE Numan item!!!!! Hussey/Numan Numan Concert in Warrington ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Date: Fri, 2 Aug 1996 13:47:44 -0700 From: dlangs@sunstroke.sdsu.edu (Derek Langsford) Subject: ADMINISTRIVIA To: numan@cs.uwp.edu In "The Digest Asks Gary" last issue, no name was given for questions 24 and 25. Those questions were asked by: Terry Thoman of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, USA (Isn't that Book of the Month Club country?) The omission was my fault, and mine alone. Your name was sent with the questions to Gary, I just must have deleted it when formatting his reponses. Others will know more about this than me, but I'm sure it's been deleted for a long time now. I had a poor copy of this and it is worth getting. The soundtrack to the I Die:You Die video is a little different (more noticeable on the chorus) and with a slighlty more "harsh" vocal. Oh, the tape and case are in mint/nm >condition. Actually it's not THAT rare, I bought it at Virgin Megastore in London and I'm sure they had more than one copy. Furthermore it's called "Newman Numan" which is exactly the same as in the Numan discography by Dave Datta, as below: 1982 Newman Numan Gary Numan Paul Gardiner Cedric Sharpley Chris Payne Rrussell Bell Billy Currie Dennis Haynes Mick Karn John Webb Pino Palladino Chris Slade Roger Mason The 1930's Rust I Die: You Die Music For Chameleons Cars She's Got Claws We Take Mystery Complex Love Needs No Disguise Down In The Park Are "Friends" Electric? This Wreckage We Are Glass VHS US But on the other hand, if someone is willing to send me 100 USD for it I don't mind selling it! You could also send me 40 *different* bottles of beer from your country and I will send you the video. Mine is played maybe 5 times and also in mint condition and on VHS. I've checked several old digests and wasn't able to find anything. Last I heard from the Mission-lovers (of which I used to be), Wayne had closed shop in the UK and moved to the US to Anaheim Hills, CA (throwing distance from my home) and was going to focus on producing. Anyone have some info? Thanks! BTW, Sacrifice is amazing -- Can't wait for EXILE . .. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 01 Aug 1996 21:24:36 +0100 From: Colin Mc Subject: Numan Concert in Warrington To: numan@cs.uwp.edu Hi, I live in Warrington and our local paper had an article about the forthcoming concert which may interest you, sources claim that Noel and Liam Gallagher,of Oasis have booked the top floor of the Village hotel (one of the largest hotels in Warrington)for the after gig party". Rumours have been going on about the Gallagher brothers booking the entire floor for several months, and the Village Hotel will not confirm or deny this,I hope this piece of information has been of interest to you.
