My 1997 scenario: Gary signs deal releases "Exile" in late spring/early winter in Europe and US to great acclaim despite kneejerk reactions by UK music press. Live album and video released soon thereafter. Gary tours UK, Europe and US in fall after release of "Exile Extended". "Kinsman" released before Christmas and Gary does a great job. UK media forced to rethink attitude to Numan. Numan 84-96 singles collection released to take advantage of new publicity. Gary manages to avoid overexposure despite acclaim. Other desires: Living Ornaments '79/'80 or Wembley '81 released in some form on CD. Babylon 8 and on fills in holes from Gary's catalogue on CD. I'm sure there are others. Happy Nu-Year everyone! It is in the mp3 format which makes it CD quality 44.1 stereo sound!!! The strangest aspect of this whole surprise is the song itself. At first I though it was a joke but it turned out to be real. The song is Metal Beat (which is not on any album from what I understand) You need a layer 3 audio player to hear this song. Once you have that go and check it out at ftp://ftp.cs.nyu.edu/pub/local/perlin/incoming/_%5BUploads%5D/ Cheers, Ron, ------------373A6499270D0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii
