of Kurt's vocals.   They are no longer buried in the 
music, the sound quality
is excellent and the vocal delivery is classic KURT:  
crisp,

     "Are Friends Electric" has to be a difficult song 
to perform, the
syllables tumble out in complex, alliterative sequences. 
 Kurt's delivery is
tight, precise, and right on the mark, you FEEL the 
alienation expressed in
the lyrics.  I finally understand this song.   If this 
is tribute to his old
idol, Gary Numan, Kurt  has done him proud.>>

Ummm...Who the heck is Kurt ?

And is AFE really such a difficult song ?????

Gary Numan a few years back and I thought that you might

me. The first album that I was involved in was 
"Berserker" and after that I
didn't get to find out what they were called, as I would 
just be involved
in the early stages of the recording process and not all

played was used. If you know if I'm credited on any 
other albums, I would
be most grateful for the information. The last time that 
I worked for Gary
was around May 1987, as far as I can remember!

In response to more info on Dramatis....

Dramatis album For Future Reference didn't exactly sell very well. There was
to have been a follow up featuring newer material like face on the wall, I
can see her know, but the band called it a day.

I'm not aware of it on CD, I had both tape and vinyl.  Saw them perform live
for a Radio 1 show in London with Kissing The Pink supporting them. It would
have been around April or May in 1982.

Manged to buy a Dramatis t-shirt at Numan's Warrior tour in 83! Still have
it, but it is very, very small now!

There is a Dramatis Web site, don't have the address at hand but a search
for Dramatis in Yahoo! should dig it up.

Great band, great music, shame they split up!

Hi all,

Someone mentioned in last week's digest that it was possible to save audio
files as MPEG data which means that sounds can be of much higher quality.
Could somebody please mail me privately about this? I'm very keen to get
our audio files onto our web page.

Does any one out there know of any really "dreamy" bands(other than
the Tear Garden's "tired eyes, slowly burning", Cocteau Twins, Steve
Roach, bt, John Foxx)?

By the way, I promise that if you get "tired eyes, slowly burning" by the 
Tear Garden that you will have another band that you will have the
"munchies" for so remember to "sing, sing while you may!"
