Message for Jef NumanMania TOP 10 outrage !!! personal announcement TOP FIVE ACCORDING TO ME! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Date: Sat, 6 Sep 1997 21:55:52 -0700 (PDT) From: Derek Langsford Subject: 'The Record Deal' To: numan@cs.uwp.edu >From NuWORLD: Sept 5th, 1997 We are very pleased to announce that Gary has now signed a new record deal with Eagle Records. Eagle are a new UK based label, well financed and run by some of the record industries most experienced people. Eagle aim to become, in the very near future, a leading player in the music business and Gary is a key component in their plans. We think you'll notice the difference when 'Exile' is released on October 20th. A single, plus video, is planned for soon after the UK tour. Other live dates are also now in the early planning stage. ------ So, anyone heard of Eagle Records? I'd rather it be an established label - both Virgin and Beggars were rumoured - so we'll have to see what happens. I'll unfortunately remain skeptical until proven different. At least the release of Exile seems set for Oct 20. This is the book to order it from (available at your local comic stores in America). The order deadline is September 13th...so hurry! Also, a CD single featuring the songs, "Magic", "Walk In My Soul" and "Play Like God" is available somewhere (not offered for sale...any info?). The full length version contains ten songs. I believe this is a new version of "Sacrifice". Excellent artwork and CD design also. Ok, you get the picture. If you want it go order it. I'm sure this available overseas also. I just don't have any info for this. Check your comic shops. Me I disconnect from you...........Michael LeBlanc MLEB@AOL.COM ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 5 Sep 1997 10:47:55 -0400 (EDT) From: Andyscobra@aol.com Subject: Gemma interview. To: "Gary Numan" Lo, i was surfing the net as you do, when I decided to give Outland a Visit. I was however both shocked and outraged when i came across a page titled Numan Olympics 2000 which has an article in it which takes the piss out of me. Surely any minor comments i made about Gary didn't really justify such a vicious attack on my good name. I therefore advise you to avoid the link below . http://www.hutch.com.au/~purvism/olympics.html Riana said > If I'm feeling masochistic I'll take and post pictures of myself in the > school special-occasions uniform. :P oooooha now that conjures up some images Riana :-) are you posting in the newsgroups ? Kennan Read Hudson Langsford was born at 01:24 on Sept 5. weighing in at 8 lbs 1 oz. Not bad for being 3 weeks early. Despite this joyful event, I spent more of today with tears of sadness in my eyes than tears of joy. It's been an emotional week indeed.
