Bye the way, in stage magazine (in flemish) of this month there is an excellent interview that Gary gave at his visit in Belgium. The Journalist (if Gary should read this) with the long red hair and the album with "mean street" on it, wasn't a fan at all. He writes: It wasn't my biggest dream to be in a hotelroom with Gary Numan. I don't know what made him special in the end of the seventies, and I still haven't found out why he is so special now. But if another journalist says one bad word about MR NUMAN I will get very angry! Numan is a very nice person and deserves better. Great isn't it? Take care, Joeri Peeters Belgium. http://home.planetinternet.be/~joeri/prophecy.html ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Dec 1997 09:50:16 EST From: tweibrecht@juno.com (thomas m weibrecht) Subject: cleopatra bashing To: numan@cs.uwp.edu yeah, they have typos; yes, their packaging is cheesy; yes, they release alot of goth; BUT: between them and hypnotic (their parent) they have re-released literally hundreds of deleted back product, like the early kraftwerk stuff (in a box no less), fsol's cascades, a ton of hillage, amon duul, kluster, guru guru, aome of the captain trips stuff outta japan, and so many others that numan should be lucky to be in the company with...(no, i dont work for them) tom w np: 777 = system 7 (yes, cleopatra/hypnotic) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Dec 1997 11:30:56 +0000 From: kevin Goodchild Subject: HAPPY HOLIDAYS ! To: "'numan@cs.uwp.edu'" Dear all, I have a small problem which is not Numan related, but I am looking for help wherever someone might be able to help me! A few weeks ago, I bought a Gameboy for my 6 year old boy, with Marioland as a first game. Now it is very easy to go to the stage 3-3, but it takes us about 1/2hour to get there, and I KNOW there is a shortcut to go directly from 1-1 or 1-2 to 3-1 (or something like that). Can somebody tell me where I can find it? Sorry for disturbing all you people, but we're here also to help each other. Thanks for anyone trying. Have a nice X-mas and N.Y.! >Luc > > ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 21 Dec 1997 00:25:15 PST From: info Subject: RAMADHAN ON THE INTERNET To: n "O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was for those before you (in order) that you may learn self restraint" [translation of meaning of Qur'an 2:183] The glorious month of Ramadhan will soon again be with us (inshallah).
