Bull's Eye Gold is the PREMIER email address collection tool. This program allows you to develop TARGETED lists of email addresses. Doctors, florists, MLM, biz opp,...you can collect anything...you are only limited by your imagination! You can even collect email addresses for specific states, cities, and even countries! All you need is your web browser and this program. Our software utilizes the latest in search technology called "spidering". By simply feeding the spider program a starting website it will collect for hours. The spider will go from website to targeted website providing you with thousands upon thousands of fresh TARGETED email addresses. When you are done collecting, the spider removes duplicates and saves the email list in a ready to send format. No longer is it necessary to send millions of ads to get a handful of responses...SEND LESS...EARN MORE!!! A terrific aspect of the Bull's Eye software is that there is no difficult set up involved and no special technical mumbo-jumbo to learn. All you need to know is how to search for your targeted market in one of the many search engines and let the spider do the rest! Not familiar with the search engines? No problem, we provide you with a list of all the top search engines. Just surf to the location of a search engine on your browser then search for the market you wish to reach...it's that easy! For instance if you were looking for email addresses of Doctors in New York all you would do is: 1) Do a search using your favorite search engine by typing in the words doctor(s) and New York 2) Copy the URL (one or more)...that's the stuff after the http://... for instance it might look like http://www.yahoo.com/?doctor(s)/?New+York 3) Press the START button THAT's IT!!! The Bull's Eye spider will go to all the websites that are linked, automatically extracting the email addresses you want. The spider is passive too! That means you can let it run all day or all night while you are working on important things or just having fun on your computer. There is no need to keep a constant watch on it, just feed it your target market and give it praise when it delivers thousands of email addresses at the end of the day! Features of the Bull's Eye Software: * Does TARGETED searches of websites collecting the email addresses you want! * Collects Email addresses by City, State, even specific Countries * Runs Automatically...simply enter the Starting information, press The Start Button, and it does the rest * Filters out duplicates * Keeps track of URLs already visited * Can run 24 hours per day, 7 days per week * Fast and Easy List Management * Also has built in filtering options...you can put in words that it "Must" have while searching,...you can even put in criteria that it "Must NOT Have"...giving you added flexibility * Also imports email addresses from any kind of files (text files, binary files, database files) * List editor handles Multiple files to work on many lists simultaneously * Has a Black-Book feature... avoid sending emails to people who do not want to receive it * Built-in Mail program...send email directly on the internet with just a click of your mouse * Personalized Emails...if the email address has the user's name when it is collected,..you can send Personalized emails!!! * Sort by Location, Server, User Name, Contact Name * Advanced Operations: · Email address lists export in many different formats (HTML, Comma delimited, text file) · Advanced editing...Transfer, Copy, Addition, Delete, Crop, Move to Top/Bottom · Operations between lists...Union, Subtraction, Comparison * Program is Passive,...meaning you can run other programs at the same time CALL FOR MORE INFORMATION 213-980-7850 CALL FOR MORE INFORMATION 213-980-7850 ORDERING INFORMATION Customer Name Company Name Address City State Zip Phone Fax Email Address ______ BULL'S EYE SOFTWARE $259.00 Includes Software, Instructions, Technical Support ______ Shipping & Handling (2-3 Day Fedex) $10.00 (Fedex Overnite) $20.00 ______ TOTAL (CA Residents add applicable sales tax) *All orders are for Win 95 and Win NT *****CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED***** MASTERCARD VISA AMEX PLEASE CALL 213-980-7850 to process your order 9am-5pm Pacific Time Checks or Money Orders send to: WorldTouch Network Inc. 5670 Wilshire Blvd. Suite 2170 Los Angeles, CA 90036 Please note: Allow 5 business days for all checks to clear before order is shipped. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 26 May 1998 00:24:57 EDT From: Butch285 Subject: Atlanta Pre-concert gathering? To: numan@cs.uwp.edu Hi, I've been a Numan fan since around ' 81 and thought I'd never get a chance to see Gary perform live... well with less than a week to go before Gary's Atlanta show, I can barely contain myself. Unfortunately, I am a lone Numanoid amongst my circle of friends (wife included), and was wondering if anyone on the Digest was getting together before the Atlanta show on May 30? Anyone? To: numan@cs.uwp.edu (Gary Numan) > While surfing the web one day, I came across a weird CD store site >which had a listing for a Numan Disc called "Black Heart" >It didn't offer anything in the way of a track listing. I can't find >the site again to order, and wouldn't considering the high price >without knowing what's on it....HELP!!! Anyone know the track listing >for this...please let me know. Also, if you have a URL...that would be >great too! I found that disc on http://ab-cd.com, who have quite a lot of numan for sale on their site. Even more than http://www.musicblvd.com, but I like Music Boulevard customer support a whole lot better. Anyway, I was in a sucker mood so I ordered Black Heart with no clue what it was. Well, after it arrived I learned it's the umpteenth weird, quasi-legal, European import compilation: AFE, We R Glass, ID:YD, Cars, Call out the Dogs (All live) and Berserker, Emotion, Machine Soul [sic], Pray, Seed of a Lie, A Lost Little Soul, and Black Heart (all from the studio). The live tracks are from Ghost, the studio tracks are from their respective CD's, (the last two being from Human.) The artwork is an unremarkable and anachronistic photo circa 1980. I'd give the package a thumbs down to all but the most dementedly rabid collector. It was a small club sorta, and I was afraid of getting crushed as I was up in front. I mean it was wall to wall Goth kid's, numanoid's, and preppies. During the whole performance of Switchblade a guy with a big expencive looking camra keped trying to take photos of the lead singer. I kept kneeling for him, though he musta been 6 feet tall! I think he may have been a professional photagrapher. Gary Numan kicked ass and took several names! The music sounded so tight and soooooo loud as I was forced to stand by the speaker's due to a friend not wanting to be in the middle! :( But I got a good view anywa'z. Gary's body looked sooo well keped! I mean he looked in shape. I just knew he was gonna pass out from the heat, but he didn't. He just keped drinking lot's of little bottled water, and asked someone in the audiance if they wanted a drink, and he let them drink from his bottle. I was just crying over in the corner there.Everyone was sooo cool when he would do something like that with, or for the audiance. The audiance was soooooooo nice. And great. Like I say, Ikeped expecting to get curshed, you know like you here about at those soccer games, but I didn't. Gary was sweating profusely. It was unbealeavable hot in there. It get's really hot here in Texas, and there air conditioner was nothing. There were electric fans on stage, I could feel a breeze from them every now and then while Switch was on, but when Gary came out, gone went the breeze. Everyone crowded against the stage together to see Gary. All though it was a small venue, when ever the crowed cheered, it sounded like a huge stadium or concert hall. At some point at the beginning of the show "in between song's", he acutaly accepted a note someone from the audeance had handed to him. He stoped everything he was doing, held it to a light, and read it. Then after he read it, he looked down at the person, and shook his head no to them. God, I wonder what it said???!!! Beautifull big wedding ring than man has! His show was fabulous! Im still reeeeling from it. This was the first time I ever saw Ade Orange, he's just as wierd "in a good way" looking as Gary is. He lookes like he may be Albino. Can anyone verify this? He actualy wore sun glasses as dark as it was in there. Too COOL! I can't believe how Gary knew the word's to the song's like magic! Not like youd see or expect from other performers. You could get close enough for him to sweat on you, and the words were still comming out of his mouth. At one point in the show, his cordless mike went out on him, right in the middle of a number. Thank goodness the band quit playing so they could fix it. It only took like maybe a hole of 1 and a half minutes and they were jammin again! Seemed like everyone needed a break anyways due to the heat in there. It surely must have been every bit of 102 degree's in there. But you didn't care, cause the show was so good and Gary keped perfect pace! Unbelievable! Waited from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm till the door's opened. There were a few chair's though not many. Good thing or there wouldn have been enough room for all the people. Of course you have to stand to see Gary anyway what with all the dancing and arm raising and hand jesetures you just have to join in with. He just has to put this American tour on CD!!! That hot new version of METAL is to die for!!!! After about the last few song's, I just started screeming HI GARY, HI GARY, like I say I was on the side and Gary rarely looked over that far. I know he heard me, but I loved screeming it "loosing voice now" at the end of the show, "after the 3rd encore" he looked right at me and said, Bye bye!, smiled and then winked at me, I then closed my eye's and down to the floor I went! Like I say, he kicked a, and took several names. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 26 May 1998 16:05:34 -0400 From: Erik Morrison Subject: Fall Tour Plus To: numan@cs.uwp.edu I hate to get the rumour mill cranked up, but when I spoke with Gary outside the 9:30 Club in D.C. I asked if he was going to come to the US again, and he said yes. I asked him when and he said, probably in October at least that was the plan. It would be great if someone could confirm this. I've tried to no avail. I hate to get everyones hopes up, but I swear that is what he said to me. I felt compelled to let everyone know even though I couldnt confirm it with anyone since, Gary told me. Does anyone know if the box set will need to be special ordered? Also, Beggars Banquet has turned up copies of Asylum 1 and 2. The excellent japanese set from a few years ago. I ordered Asylum 1 over the internet and got it in exactly 2 weeks. The exchange rate at the time made it about $70.00 dollars. It is a really nice set and would recommend it. Now, I just need Asylum 3. Beggars Banquet has a web site, and can be easily found by doing a search of "Beggars Banquet" and checking under the Numan catalogue. In case anyone doesnt know, Asylum 1 includes the 1st 4 albums with bonus tracks, Aylum 2 the next 4 with bonus tracks, etc. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 May 1998 14:45:55 EDT From: SomaCrow Subject: Froggy pretense/Vox Humana To: numan@cs.uwp.edu Si Gary Numan pense que c'est pr=E9tentieux ou "snooty" prononcer "Voix,"= =0A"vwah," d'apr=E8s le fran=E7ais, alors, pourquoi n'=E9tait-il pas pr= =E9tentieux=0Aappeller le chanson "Voix," ou un autre "Trois Gymnop=E9die= s"? :-) Est celui-l=E0=0Avraiment nomm=E9 apr=E8s le r=E9glage du synth= =E9tiseur? The pleasure principle was the first album i ever bought, i think i wore it out! I have been totally in love with Gary since then and i am VERY heartbroken now that i know he is married. He was supposed to marry me. No one else understood how incredible his music was and i thought i was the only one who thought this until i got a computer and i am AMAZED at all the websites and info there is, i'm very excited to finally find more fans! I tragically lost EVERYTHING in a house fire a year and half ago including all my GN albums, i found Replicas on the turntable the next day. I thought i would never be able to replace those since none of the early stuff was in print anymore. Luckily Premier hits came out and i had a start. i was lucky to find an import CD with the Pleasure Principle and Warriors together. I have been listening non-stop since. I thought i was going to die when i heard he was coming to Dallas, it was incredible seeing him live for the first time ever, HE LOOKED SOOO GOOD! I was sad that i didn't know alot of his new stuff but he mixed in some oldies! I was not expecting him to rock out like he did, everything had a harder edgel. Guess i took up enough of your time. I listen to all kinds of artists. Lately it's been a lot of Soundgarden and alternative stuff. I don't really play any instruments, but had piano lessons as a kid. So of course, I bought it. It's a black cover with silver letters. The front reads "Gary Numan / Interview." The name looks like Gary's autograph. There is a sort of catalog number that reads "Numan 7CD." Other than that, there is the same photo of gary in Fury style clothing on the inside of the booklet and on the CD itself. The interview seems to be done after the Fury was recorded, but before it was released. What is this thing? Is it rare? Is it a sort of bootleg thing? Where was it recorded? It sounds like it was recorded in the middle of a lot of activity. There is a woman walking around a lot and singing, and maybe also noodling around on a synth. The sound quality is apalling. If you're not interested, please feel free to scroll down to the next message. The venue is called the Galaxy Club located in Deep Elum, a trendy spot in downtown Dallas. Personally, I wasn't too impressed by the venue. Only about 2000 square feet, tops, and a full crowd of about 500. It offered nothing that resembled air conditioning and the lead singer of Switchblade Symphony was not comfortable. I got lucky enough to get there around 9:45 for a 10:15 start time, get a $4 beer, my concert T-shirt (still with the wrong web address) and still start off on the 3rd row and finish on the first row beside Jemma. I didn't know for sure if it was her but I did wonder. She looked at me and smiled with a look that said, "Hey, you know all of these lyrics too!" Not many others around us did. I got a feeling that a lot of the audience had an old copy of "The Pleasure Principle" and nothing else. As for the show, Switchblade Symphony was something new for me. I enjoyed it for that and they did a good job as a warm up band. Gary came out half an hour later and the croud went nuts. My first impression was, "Man, he looks tired!" Kind of surprising thought since this is the first time I have seen Gary live. When the first notes started I realized that my chances of hearing "Slow Car To China" were pretty slim. "Friends" was the first cut and set the mood for the next two hours as the energy slammed into the audience instantly. The energy level never let down as my left ear begins to ring for the next 15 hours. (Standing 6 feet from the speakers didn't help.) The audience reacted most strongly to "Down In The Park", "Are Friends Electric" and "We Are Glass". I think Gary reacted strongest to "Absolution" as he looked at Jemma quite a bit during that one song. Overall, the acoustics weren't as bad as I thought they would be considering we were all packed into a large warehouse with wood rafters and concrete floors. After all was done, I went outside to the bus and waited a bit. Gary came out, and took my copy of the book "Numan by Computer". He autographed it for me, I thanked him and left shortly thereafter. I spent a lot of time thinking about what to say or ask him before the show. Now I can't remember what I said at all. I think that's where I let myself down. I've waited 18 years to meet him and then said nothing significant. All in all, it was a great show with lots of energy and a long awaited event for me. I thank Gary for the time and energy he spends on his fans. (yea, my opinion carries a lot of weight!) Brian, Derek, John, Alec and I went to JapanTown before the show and met up with just a largegroup of people: Lisa, Ian, Joey ..... I’m sorry I can’t remember everyone. (John, how is your voice doing???) They headed in to have something to eat. A few of us hung out around front before going over to the Fillmore because we had had a late lunch. Got in line about 5 p.m. And waited. Ok, so I’m not the patient long suffering type. We got in about 7 p.m. and made a bee line for the front of the stage, we were in the third row of people standing. We then had a long period of audio assault, part of which was inflicted by Switchblade Symphony. (I really think Tina needed baby powder to get into that outfit). After that, some loud hideous sounds came over the speakers until Gary hit the stage. What a sight!!!! All dark and all I could see were some people skulking onto the stage, and then there he was!! Ahhhhhhhh! He pounded out the music. No sympathy, no apologies. BAM! Here it is. ( I would love to hear ‘Crash’ done in this style). He whipped around the stage, he let us have it for all it was worth. Then a mild nightmare began the third song into the set. The Numanazi’s (I like it Riana!) Shoved their way to the front. What a vile and hideous bunch of moronic assholes. They provided me with someone else to wish ill on, now that my ex- husband is dead. Yes, they earned my extreme displeasure, first because one of the scum sucking assholes kicked my maliciously across both my knees (he looked behind him afterward to check the damage). Second, another one of the slime filled pocked monsters crawled up on stage and pranced around facing the audience. Like I really paid $20.00 to see his green pus filled flesh??? Third: THEY ONLY KNEW THE LYRICS TO GARY’S EARLY MATERIAL-NOTHING PAST ‘CARS’!!!!!! That casts them into the pit of complete and utter patheticism. So, that little issue distracted Brian and I for about 3-4 songs while we struggled with the shoving scum. The rest of the show was wonderful. Incredible music, great audience response. Gary came out afterwards to sign autographs and have pictures taken. He was so patient with us. He waited until we all had something signed etc then made it clear he had to get going. He had a 5 a.m. taping with a morning SF program. Gah, what a schedule!!! LA: We got there early again, 2 p.m. this time. Saw Gary and Gemma come into the building. I think they thought we were a little psycho, but we were actually waiting for a friend of Derek’s. (Go ahead Gary, we aren’t here for you right now, move along!) The show was much better. We stood farther to the back this time and didn’t have to tolerate the Numanazi’s who came to this show also. The sound quality was much better further to the back. I think I was also able to absorb it more clearly because I didn’t have my brain trying to memorize his every move and every sound. The lighting was incredible. Much more detailed . ‘Noise Noise’, ‘Dead Heaven’, were absolutely incredible. I really hope they do release the video. This was something special. I can’t wait for next year, and will dress more appropriately, i.e.: knee and shin guards, and maybe some spiked wrist guards. Yeah, I like it. Laters!!!!!Look forward to seeing you all next year, with the obvious exceptions. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 May 98 23:26:45 -0700 From: "gumby.telis" Subject: SF setlist? To: San Francisco was a blast. The Fillmore was a perfect setting for my first time seeing the concert. One problem, I don't remember all the songs on the setlist (ack...leaky brain). Could somebody email a list to me if they happen to remember it. (gumby@telis.org) Thanks The gumby man The wolf he howls, howls up at the moon; some day coming - some day soon . . . NUMAN To: numan@cs.uwp.edu Numan most certainly must have his origins in the Myths of the Rhine, or the Rangarok battles of gods and men, of eternal time. Yet another bit from a Yank devotee of the Numan vision, who practically slept through the last 16 years waiting until Numan returned triumphantly for Dominion Day in the US. This is an overstatement, of course, but only on some levels. I really felt "validated," for lack of a better word, seeing my countrymen and countrywomen reacting the same way I've seen the crowds react in the videos of UK shows. It definitely wasn't a stand-stare-and-yawn event. Nope. It was a revival meeting that included plenty of high drama Goths, unbelievably dorky Computer Nerds and Trekers, Ghosties, Hobgobblins, Vixens, Hags, Psuedo-Pagans, born-again Cretins, Croutons and many blatant alterna-lifestylers all unified for a single Numan-centric event: Exile in the USA. My friend Marco said to me before the Palace gig, "How NUMAN is this going to be?!" And it really was, it was really NUMAN up there being NUMAN 100%. It was so great to hear all those Exile tracks. I'm so into Exile these days. Prophecy just really knocks me out especially. Nice to meet you, Katerine. Thank you, John Carramao! We barely made it down to LA from the Bay Area but we pulled through yet again. The 15-year-old in this corn-fed 33-year-old really took heart meeting Numan, who knew of the two spellings of my first name, took the time to talk with me, actually ask ME questions and sign this and sign that. I decided to give him something after he signed stuff after the SF show and the Sunset Tower in-store. I gave him a book about Secret Societies and a high-tech Brookstone-style nightlight after the Palace show, which he genuinely seemed to get a kick out of. Both Gemma and Gary are relaxed and pleasant people to be around and both have their unique roles as guardians of Numan and the Numan (sonic + otherwise) vision. Nice to meet you, Riana. I enjoyed seeing Marilyn Manson, wearing a Pleasure Principle-style suit instead of fishnets and PVC, trading verses with Numan himself onstage in LA. That was fun and though I'm not a fan of most things Goth, or Manson's music in general, I must fully give a legit hat tip to both of them for doing it, pulling it off and giving the Palace show a special twist. Derek Langsford, it was great fun travelling the five or six hours from Silverlake and Earl in LA to Van Ness and Lombard in San Francisco with you. It seemed like fifteen minutes. Thank you, Mr. Numan, your band kicks some ass, that is for sure. If you ever want to include bass (fretless or otherwise) in your live setup or otherwise...here I AM. Simtul datoriei a fost. Nice to meet you, Rainbow. I also enjoyed meeting a very hoarse-voiced Joey Lindstrum. I certainly had a different impression of you with only the internet as a frame of reference. It was great to meet other Numan Namuns of all stripes. It's funny that he thinks that pronouncing it correctly is snooty and pretentious. The English probably get quite a charge purposely mispronouncing French. I can't blame them. God knows the French love to mutilate English. ------------------------------ End of Gary Numan Digest ******************************
