Gary Numan Digest Sun, 13 Feb 2000 Volume 2 : Issue 12 Today's Topics: A Very Unique Version Of Cars Looking for someone. One of their calling cards is doing music on very strange instruments. One of the songs featured was 'Cars' done on PVC tubing, sort of like a xylophone. Very cool. -- Shane shaneking.com has free music, go there now! ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 10 Feb 2000 16:10:44 +0100 From: luc.de_visscher@ch.Novartis.com Subject: Looking for someone. To: digest@garynumanfan.nu (Gary Numan) Hi there, A few months / years ago, someone told the story on the digest about being in a record shop whilst Down in hte park was playing, and a girl made nasty remarks about a "cover version of a Marilyn Manson song". Can this person please re-mail me the whole story? I'm trying to have this story published in a Belgian magazine with a big outlet (250,000 readers which is BIG in Belgium). Preferably very to the point (place, date, time, what she looked like, reactions, whatever). Thanks a Zillion time! Jim "The Machman" Napier here. Well it's happened again. My bargain basement e-mail has reposted a message to the digest twice. No it wasn't double vision, it was my Excite mail that I have banished. But on the upside, the NAGNFC has been completely reconstructed nearly from the ground up for your surfing pleasure. Tons of exclusive pictures, news updates and contests await in cyberspace for your arrival. Also, everyone circle your calendars on February 22, for a live chat session at 7:00 PM EST. The NAGNFC has scored the actual artist formerly known as Jim Collins, constructor of The Church Of Gary Numan: A Dark Celebration. Him and I have both been surprised at the interest and hype created by the CD officially dubbed America's answer to Random. It is bound to be quite the party. We'll have donuts and cider for everyone! ------------------------------ End of Gary Numan Digest ****************************** ------------------------------------------------------------------- T H E G A R Y N U M A N D I G E S T is produced and distributed by Derek Langsford, Dave Datta, and Joey Lindstrom dlangs@sunstroke.sdsu.edu, datta@cs.uwp.edu, Joey@GaryNumanFan.NU ------------------------------------------------------------------- To reply to the messages in this list, email: digest@GaryNumanFan.NU If you want to be removed, or someone wants to be added, email: digest-request@GaryNumanFan.NU ------------------------------------------------------------------ The Gary Numan Digest is brought to you via Joey Lindstrom and the GaryNUmanFan server Joey@GaryNumanFan.NU All of the opinions in this digest belong to the respective authors and do not necessarily agree with those of the Digest Producers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Produced and distributed by Derek Langsford dlangs@sunstroke.sdsu.edu -------------------------------------------------------------------------- To reply to the messages in this list, mail to: digest@garynumanfan.nu If you want to be removed, or someone wants to be added, you can mail to digest-request@garynumanfan.nu --------------------------------------------------------------------------
