My name is Garrett and I live in Los Angeles. I've been a Numanoid since I was 9 years old when "Cars" first made its way across the pond to the U.S. The Pleasure Priciple was one of my first purchases and since then I've been hooked. I recently ordered his autobiography through NuWorld and when I asked if I could have my copy signed he generously obliged. It is now one of my most prized Numan possesion. I hope I inspire someone to drop me a line sometime. Life is Good... Paddy V said: "In the interview quoted a couple of Digests back, Gary is telling the interviewer that Radio 1 did not even put Are Friends Electric? on their play list until it had already been number 0ne for two weeks. Does anyone else remember? " I do, and I'm sure I heard it on Radio 1 before anywhere else. I wasn't even a big TOTP fan so I wouldn't have heard it there. Also, I remember fetching my older brother to listen to it on the radio because I'd not heard anything like it! I said to him something like "this is so good it'll never get anywhere". Fortunately I was wrong! Also, Jerry V asks about "I Don't Believe" and "Lee Cooper" (or to give it it's correct title, "Don't Be A Dummy"). Both now appear as bonus tracks. I Don't Believe is on the re-released "Metal Rhythm" (and brilliant it is too!) and DBAD has just been added to the re-released version of The Plan. I've seen both in the shops in the UK, but I think you can also get them from Gary's Web site.
