Maybe we will be again. After the last show of the last tour (Charlotte), Gary told me that Atlanta was one of the best shows. It was a great show, with a large, lively crowd. Brad Atlanta, GA ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Feb 2001 11:53:35 -0000 From: "Antonio" Subject: noise : Noise Quick note to let everyone know that the Noise Noise website, now featuring almost all the Numan lyrics ever, has moved to http://www.kill-by-numbers.net/ - this gives me pretty much unlimited webspace, so I can add many more pictures, interviews and things in the future. Saw Gary at Manchester Academy last week. Fantastic. That's all I can say, really. Choice of songs seemed a little different to usual - nothing from Exile or Sacrifice, almost all of Pure, (I think One Perfect Lie was the only Pure song he didn't do) and lots of stuff from 79 / 80, plus Voix from 88. It was all good stuff, obviously, though sometimes I do miss hearing things like Unknown and Hostile and Warriors, and I was a little surprised that Exile and Sacrifice were nor represented at all. But having said that, the gig was one of the best I have ever seen Numan play - his voice was audible, too :) - far too many times in the past his voice has been too far back in the mix and difficult to hear. This time his voice is right out front in the mix, and everything sounded perfect. I know cause I bought two tix yesterday online and then found out I could not afford the trip itself ($1400!) So anyone needing Boston tix let me know and I would be happy to trade them for something (cash maybe)? Two including shipping and handling cost me $41. But no reasonably close offer refused. They were to be $18 day of show. Show supposed to start around 9pm.
