Beggars DO have = the tapes to the recording that was issued in the box set. HOWEVER, the = ORIGINAL full concert tapes are the ones that are missing. With the '79 show we located the multitracks and remixed the FULL show and = that's ideally what Beggars wants to do with LO '80. There probably has to be a cut-off date to try and locate the '80 tapes, = so, once I, Assassin and Warriors are released, Beggars will reassess the = situation and probably remaster the tapes that we have, to reissue an = edited version of the '80 show (as in the original LO box set). Sod's law is that if we do that the full concert tapes will suddenly re-= appear! ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 5 Mar 2001 11:41:13 -0500 From: "Tim" Subject: Cleveland, OH Can anyone tell me a phone number or website to buy tickets to the Odeon, Cleveland OH venue??? JF ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 05 Mar 2001 21:44:53 From: "William Wilson" Subject: Purified Hi! All, Can I say that I'm astounded that fellow members of this digest have not heard of "Purified",it has been mentioned on this digest on several occasions and at "Nuworld" well before the tour started,it seems a few people have been doing a little "skipping" through digests and missed a few vital messages, anyway,as far as I know,Gary DOES plan to make this disc available throughout the U.S. tour and it is available direct from Numan himself at Nuworld. Please, please, please do NOT buy this disk from the piranhas and profiteers that inhabit the likes of EBay. just to clarify a few things,Purified is fifty questions posed by fans and answered by gary, along the lines of gary saying "Question 1,Can you explain the lyrics of the song Pure?" then Gary giving his explanation, ect ect.None of the Music is complete or without "talk over",so none of the new/unreleased music can be listened too without Gary answering questions over the top of them,I have asked gary on the two recent on-line question occasions that Gary has taken part in if he plans to release them without "Talk over" but he has kept rather quiet about the subject(no reply whatsoever). The artwork on the disk is nothing startling,a couple of new shots from the same sessions of Pure and a couple of already used images reworked, overall,I think this disk was a good idea, but should have been released ALONG SIDE a proper tour program(the disk has nothing about the band!!). Cheers all William Wilson (Glasgow Crazie!) _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 05 Mar 2001 22:21:35 From: "William Wilson" Subject: Glasgow pics Hi! all, Sorry to everyone who tried to follow the link for my pictures of Gary at Glasgow Garage, the link was down for a while, but it seems to be working for now(touch wood),so,to see my pictures, goto http://homepages.go.com/~glasgow_crazie/index.html have a look, leave a message and stay Crazie! I was going to auction them on eBay, but I figured I'd just offer them to the readers of the Digest.
