A virus! The new list is cool and everything, but you guys gotta get the part that drops html-ized email working *SOON*, or we're gonna be seeing more of this shit. And Dave, don't be cheap. It was called 'My Dying Machine' and had this track listing: 1) Berserker 2) My Dying Machine 3) Call Out The Dogs 4) Your Fascination 5) Miracles 6) I Still Remember 7) I Can't Stop 8) This Is Love 9) Machine & Soul 10) My Breathing 11) Emotion 12) The Skin Game 13) A Child With The Ghost 14) Generator On Receiver Records, no less! I'm impressed. They got it almost exact. Not only is it just about perfectly the singles set follow-up to 'Premier Hits' that I've long thought they should've done, but it's even earmarked in predominantly chronological order. AND it has the advantage over Spitfire's 'New Dreams For Old' in leaving out all those distracting parentheses (which make that comp look less like a comprehensive set of singles and more like a random set of obscurities). Has this been discussed before? I haven't seen it mentioned. It dates all the way back to 1996! (Catalog # RRCD21, if anyone's interested.) Now what they need to do is a comprehensive set of b-sides and new live set. Didn't someone here say he was connected to Receiver? Have any pull with them? Care to suggest these ideas? Didn't somebody else say that Receiver have been plundering one particular concert recording they had, which was how we've seen live versions of "Confession," "America," "The Skin Game," "U Got The Look" and whatever others we haven't previously gotten on any live albums. Now, if Receiver compiled all those songs (and whatever others they might have access to that haven't appeared in live form before) onto one disc, I know I'd snap it up and I'm betting others would, too. Ooh, just think of it: a new live album! Are you receiving, Receiver? love, compiled onto one release, Ben http://home.earthlink.net/~iglarmobley * * * "Soak IT up!
