Sorry that I post so little, but I read everything. I am organizing the Cincinnati Pre-Numan gathering on April 27th 6 PM at Buzz Coffee shop, 2700 Jefferson Ave. Anyone know if Gary and company attend POST gig events? There are a couple clubs in Cincinnati that they may get a chuckle out of. Oh, just to let you know...I have been a loyal fan since hearing "Praying to the Aliens" on the radio in the early 80's. I am also a sci fi fan, so songs about machines, aliens, etc. were my high school soundtrack. I saw the 1981 Boston Teletour gig, and it remains the best show I have ever been to. I am a member of the fan club, buy my clothing on NuStreet, and will stay on this list as long as it's here. Here's my thoughts on the new version. First off, the people who are complaining that there are few postings in each one, aren't realizining that we are getting these ONCE A DAY, rather that TWICE A WEEK. Obviously, there will be less content. But on that same subject, I for one would rather get the digest twice a week than daily. Second, to Rick in DC from the one who complains about lack of content has also been lax in posting to both the Digest AND the BLU mailing list , and as far as posting to the digest in HTML...<"...a stranger...Shame on you...secrets forever... shame on you...> The US Tour....still up in the air for me. Work, personal business and the move to the UK next year are all ahving a BIG affect on my plans.....original plans were to Amtrak it to DC, NYC, Philly, Boston, and ?. Now it looks like Boston may be my only stop. Still up in the air, but at this point, I have to put my job and finances in prospective so I can acheive my ultimate dream of living in London....even though so many think I already do....and had one visitor to my site think that I was actually Gary Numan. : ) !! Keeping the digest real! (Been hanging out with the younger generation later) LOL Cheers! The added show in Anaheim is at House of Blues at Downtown Disney - the entertainment area that is just opening up between the California Adventure theme park and the Disneyland Hotel. Parking is probably in one of the Disneyland parking Lots and will cost at least $7. HOB is a restaurant/live music venue so it won't be cheap. Visit http://www.hob.com/business/corporate/clubvenues/anaheim/index.asp for more info So that's 3 shows in So. Cal - I hope there isn't a rolling blackout during any of them. If Gary doesn't add NW or dates in the south this time, I hope he comes again in August to round out the tour. And Tony, yes, I will be at 4th and B. I plan to be at the San Francisco and Los Angeles shows. Yes, flying half way 'round the world to see Gary in concert. Now, for you guys in the know, what are the chances of meeting Gary after the show and getting that elusive picture with him. (Can you help me Lisa? obscure question I know!) ******************************************** David P. Every night, while catching up with my paperwork, after my wife had gone to bed, I had the Outland album on, with earphones. Strange to say, I found myself singing Dream Killer at work many times after that! >> The most meaningful Numan lyrics to me would either have to be those of either Please Push No More or Complex. Both leave me with memories of ex girlfriends. The odd part is that I was usually sad when I listened to these songs but now I enjoy them any time. yearning for the past perhaps? I just don't know.
