Gary already attended Eurorock 2 years ago. He was performing after Front242 and before Lloyd Cole & the Commotions. A riot was only just avoided when Gary didn't perform "Are friends electric?", whilst the whole enthousiastic audience was really waiting for it. Also the papers afterwarts wrote all this in their reviews. Eurorock is a Gothic & Wave festival which attracts over the 3 days somewhat like 20,000 people. It's the only festival I attend, and is well organised and nice to be, especially if the weather is fine. One advise to Mr; Numa, play anything you want of Pure, Exile or sacrifice, but give the European crowd Cars and Are friends electric?, since there will be a lot of non-regulars, it can be the 'link' for them to buy the new stuff. I'd even suggest Gary to end with AFE as last song. Looking forward to it, 5 months to go! best to all, Luc DE VISSCHER The Numan Factor, BELGIUM ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Mar 2001 12:00:05 -0800 From: Hopey Subject: Signed 12" spotted/funeral song I was in a cool record store in South Norwalk, CT called ABCD and they had a signed promo 12" of We Take Mystery to Bed (extended mix) on sale for $20. I can't remember the flip side and I couldn't find a website for the store, so if you're interested look them up or go there and get it - it made my heart skip a beat to see. I already have his autograph so I figured why pay for it??? :) So sorry about Peter's friend - I lost my brother in that way and it's heartwrenching. But at my funeral (which I hope is a LOOOONG way off) I have requested "Down in the Park" piano version to be played. I am even going to burn a CD of it and give it to my parents (since they wouldn't have a CLUE where to look for the song). I hope this makes it to the digest - the last two postings have gone into never-never land. PHILLY AND BOSTON BOUND!!!
