Someone posted about the lack of list activity regarding the upcoming tour. In '98, the list was overflowing with information about shows, venues and pre- and post-show gatherings. Now, it's a smattering of off-topic nonsense and a few tidbits of information about loosely related stuff. If I hadn't stumbled onto the onsale date on Ticketmaster's website, I'd have never known when tickets went onsale for the Cleveland show. (I posted the information here, but I never saw anyone respond about their getting tickets or, until recently, even anyone going to the Cleveland show.) Someone, please tell me that Gary's not going to play to half-empty houses on this tour. That would suck in a big way. Rather I am 38 years old (and a bit more conservative (little 'c') than I used to be), have a wife who works also, two very demanding kids, have management responsibilities in my job, and am working feverishly to my house as spiffy as possible to sell before the market tanks ( I worry it already has - partially thanks to dubya for helping his power producing Texas buddies and giving the finger to California!). My life is simply too full to spout about the upcoming gigs. So much to do, not enough time to do it etc. See you at 4th and B and, I hope, the Sunset House of Blues.
