It exists by Numan as a bootleg live song from 1978, and is available officially on CD on the reissue of Tubeway Army from 1999. Don't Be A Dummy by Numan is a hidden bonus track on a CD reissue of either Tubeway Army or The Plan, one of the double pack ones. (need to listen to them to remember which) I knew of the John DuCanne version from 1979 or 1980, but have never heard it, just Gary's 30 second version from the Lee Cooper jeans commercial. I suppose I could try and work out the lyric myself for that one... it has just escaped me whilst listening to all the other songs without official printed lyrics... still - thanks for the help, guys :) Anti -- www.goffboi.freeserve.co.uk www.kill-by-numbers.net ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 29 Apr 2001 19:14:19 +0400 From: The Tik-Tok Man Subject: Moscow Calling! I've just noticed something odd. I started cleaning my CD cases (I leave them scattered around and they get dusty) prior to arranging them in a big pile. Whilst wiping the back of the Pure CD I noticed this in the little box next to the barcode; 'I Want To Tear Your Dreams Away'. Rummaging through a few more CD's, I found this in the barcode box on New Dreams For Old, 'Pray to me on Dominion Day'. It's not the fact that there are little 'messages' secreted about the covers that is odd, the Art Of Noise covers are usually covered with them, but their placement - in with the (c) and (p) stuff. Maybe this is the new equivalent of those odd messages that were sometimes scratched between the run-out grooves on records. Voxx --- Hey! Where are we going?
