Please correct me as needed. BTW from that very first time I heard Numan sing this on telly I was hooked. The next thing I heard from him was AFE. Do I need to say any more? I've tried for years to figure out what exactly he's saying there, I listened to the live versions, and I still can't figure it out. Can someone out there please shed some light on this for me, as this is really the only piece of his material that I don't have the lyrics to and/or can't decipher. The 4th and B Theatre is literally at the SW corner of 4th and B in downtown San Diego (opposite the Wells Fargo tower). Age 21 and up only. There is mezzanine, balcony and floor seating. Capacity looks to be over 1000 from the seating diag. Geesh, I hope SD can fill most of it. Directions for out-of-towners coming from LA direction (I-5): From I-5 south, take the Front street/Civic Center exit and stay to the left. Follow signs for 2nd avenue -you'll end up at 2nd (a north-south st) and Cedar St (east - west) Go two blocks east on Cedar and make a right onto 4th Avenue Venue is 4 blocks south at 4th and B There are paid parking lots run by ACE, generally to the north and west as well as next door on B but be careful of the one-way streets when tooling around downtown. South of Broadway (the heart of downtown) in the Gaslamp quarter it is pretty busy with people and traffic to distract you from seeing the one-way signs. There's little parking there until you get even further south. Doors open at 7PM, show starts at 8PM - Grand Theft Auto and Gwenmars are scheduled. Go to http://www.4thandb.com/ for other info As for a pre-show meeting. Sorry I didn't get on the ball with this - my house move has taken over my life the last few weeks/months/year. There are loads of places close, especially to the south of the venue. My suggestions include Rubios Baja Grill (at 4th and E) - a modestly priced San Diego-based Mexican food chain, or directly across from Rubios across Horton Park is Planet Hollywood. South of Broadway are literally hundreds of restaurants and bars, most somewhat upscale and priced accordingly with waitpersons in black and white uniforms. Could the SD show attendees email me with their preference and I'll make a decision and set a meeting time. We can always go elsewhere if the initial choice proves uninspiring. I know the track list as it's the same as "Dark Light", but I'm looking for what it says about who distributed it, the catalog number associated with it, and anyhting else which is basically written on the cover of this release from February 2001. If you have it, please send this information onto me for the discography. Many thanks! But luckily Mark Hubbard was there, he found where it was and how to get to it. One question, does anyone know how many t-shirts are available for sale at each show? Randy tried to get one after the show, but by that time the only size left was medium. The guy selling them mentioned something about 850 being sold. Will be getting our film developed. I do not have access to a scanner to put them up on the Internet, any suggestions.
