I've now had it converted into NTSC video format, so I can watch it on my video player here in the USA. I do have the one original PAL video format copy to trade though. The sound quality is excellent. I was told that the video itself was a bit dark (i.e. without much light), but it's not bad at all in my opinion...it's quite watchable! As a matter of fact, I've seen much darker bootleg videos from concert venues. In any case, it was shot from the balcony as Gary played the following set for approx. 50 minutes: Rip Metal Pure My Jesus Cars Listen To My Voice I Can't Breathe Down In The Park A Prayer For The Unborn Also on this video is an excellent video segment from a TV program called "Top 10 Electro Pop" which features Gary Numan in part. This recent show from the UK was hosted by Mark Almond of Soft Cell fame and features other artists such as Tears For Fears, The Thompson Twins, Pet Shop Boys, and Depeche Mode. If you're into electronic music from the 1980's then you'll enjoy this segment...I know I did. This "Top 10 Electro Pop" segment runs approx. 1 hour 10 minutes. If you are interested is trading me for this 2 hour video tape, let me know what you to trade for it. As it's been said before, "I'm always up for a good trade" :-) Take care, Jeff Tolva (The Machman) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 16 Jun 2001 19:48:28 +0100 From: "Mark" Subject: NUMAN EVENT IN SHEFFIELD... Obviously I knew of live bootlegs, but this is the first I had ever heard of outtake bootlegs. This seems like a really interesting subject to me. Are these outtakes very different from the final versions? Is there equivalent material available from other albums? What sort of quality are the recordings? How on earth do they become available? Sorry if I sound really naive, but I thought I had a pretty complete Numan collection, then all of a sudden I find out that there are multiple versions of tracks from The Pleasure Principle floating about, and for all I know, other albums too. Please folks, tell us more. Surely I'm not the only person on the Digest that is really suprised by this? Actually, I am regretting this post already. I bet I'm the only one who doesn't have these recordings in their collection. Don't be too hard on me......................
