I know the >>context of the song from the Purified CD where he says it is about people in >>comas. Could anyone give me their take on it? Thanks, Mike To me, this refers to someone trying to live a Christian life... innocence does not let one indulge in all the world, (or all of a coma's world) has to offer. Gary is letting us know, gee whiz, he does not believe in innocence as being the answer to the worlds problems. This is NOT to say he is an immoral person (far, far from it); just that he sees the world with all it has to give, both good and evil, yin and yang, love, hate, etc. Which we all know there plenty of each in this world at least to go around several times, although it's hard not to believe PAIN is winning the battle. Sometimes. I feel so bad for Gary, for reasons we are all aware of. I know he believes there is hope in his life, now perhaps more than ever, and I hope that personal trend continues. Perhaps, perhaps, one day he will believe, but I really wouldn't bet to much on that one. His decision, as it is for each of us. It is enough for me to know that he sees the world in both lights, that he ponders it relentlessly, and that while he points at the darkness, he yearns for the light. Ouch! I just fell off my soapbox! Ok guys, let me have it, I know I'm going to get it from someone. Just know that I am a very sensative person and mean no disrespect, ok? later, phil ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Jul 2001 10:26:07 -0500 From: "IamRender" Subject: " the NAME of Gary Numan" Oh...add to your list two "good ole boys" from back woods Tennessee, USA!
