Hope so. :-) You took the words out of my mouth. Normally off-topic subjects are discouraged but the New York, Washington atrocities (a much better word than "disaster" or "tragedy" in my opinion) have been a world-changing event that we could not just let slip by. However, as Joey said, we should move on soon and next Sunday is as good a day to wrap up this discussion. Whatever your perspective or approach to the terrorist issue, please refrain from posting about it after Sunday. I always thought that it might have been because of his limited 'synth' back catalogue - with only Telekon, PP and Replicas behind him maybe it wasn't enough. I mean how many times did you hear Gaz playing 'That's too Bad?' in the Eighties? That started as a rhetorical question, but now my interest is piqued. Tom (Trying desperately to keep the subject on Numan) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Sep 2001 09:56:44 EDT From: Micromuzak@aol.com Subject: The Eagle Has Flown! Just a quick diviersion. Yes, I am an American but I use this list as an escape especially after the events of the 11th. So I would rather read stuff about Numan for now. Does anyone want to discuss Gary's decision to leave Eagle Records? Any thoughts on what labels in the US he would look to? He has stated that he wanted to look into a better, more touring/pro promotion based US based label. Any thoughts anyone? Is anyone worried we might not see another Numan release until maybe 2003 or 2004? Will NUMA resurface in the mean time? Any thoughts?
