Sure enough, the chorus lyrics are different between the LP and the two singles (7" and 12"). Although the 12" single calls the track the 'extended version'', I clocked it at 4:58 which is considerably shorter than the LP version at 8:27. Still, that's what it's called on the record itself, so that's what the GN discography will list it as. I found no difference between the 7" and 12" single versions of "Sister Surprise". Lyrics and time is all the same. The GN discography has been updated with all these findings. Thanks to everyone for their research and observations!! And thanks to Steve Webbon for starting it all :-) Jeff Tolva (The Machman) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 28 Nov 2001 12:27:09 -0000 From: "Ziggy" Subject: Machine & Soul..Defence This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_000A_01C17808.033BB280 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Over the last few months while I've enjoyed reading all the Gary gossip, = can't help but notice though, just the mention of the album "MACHINE = AND SOUL " and I imagine all the gasps of horror....he said it...he = mentioned that album.
