Well, you certainly put me in my place. First, I didn't isolate you. I simply responded to your argument for supporting MP3, pointing out inconsistencies in your position from what you wrote previously. Second, you scold me for admonishing you, then proceed to make an attack on the size of my brain; very nice. Last, I write in the first person as to avoid any confusion. I say what what I mean and take responsibility for it. This is the last word I will write on the digest about this as I'm sure no one else cares. If you wish to continue, please contact me off list. --------- Now, just so this post has some Numan relevance, I checked the BB news. They have updated the blurb about the I, Assassin and Warriors reissues. They now say the wait is nearly over and that the reissues WILL be released this Spring and that Warriors will contain an untitled, "previously unreleased track." Before this gets ugly, please take any personal slanging to email. This applies to both of you. As you point out, an open discussion of Numan and of the issues related to him (including whether or not downloading MP3's of his music from Gnutella or elsewhere is legitimate) is certainly well within our guidelines. Personal slanging (something I have myself been guilty of, so don't think I'm trying to pass myself off as perfect) is not, and that includes the assertion that Terrance has a coffee-bean brain. :-) One other thing, to you and to a few others: you should never, ever, ever, send out mail in HTML or MIME format unless the recipient has agreed to it beforehand. In the case of this Digest, we have expressly NOT agreed to it. It looks like a dog's breakfast and in most cases results in your message being posted twice. I presume you're using Microsoft's brain-dead product Outlook or Outlook Express, which turns this feature "on" by default. Please turn it off by default, and turn it on only when sending to recipients that you KNOW can and will accept such email. Thanks for your cooperation.
