I Know A Few They Have Never Purchased A Software Program Or Paid Money For Music Since They Got A Computer Years Ago! These Are The Kind Of People That I Hate MP3`s Landing In Their Hands Because They Would Never Have Bought The CD In The First Place! But Some Of Us Are Not Like That And We Are The People I Don`t Mind Getting MP3`s! I just checked Gaz's listing on allmusic.com and there's nearly 200 links to BUY Digital Music Downloads (DMDs) which are said to be "CD quality." Now, I am not go ing to check every link, but all the ones I did look at, every track was $2.99. fair enough? I dunno enough about DMD's yet to comment on them technically, but if you want to buy the tubway army CD with all the bonus tracks, that's $75. Outrageous you say? Great minds (in or out of the gutter) think alike, eh? Allmusic says if you already have a player for DMD's (Liquid Audio format?), use it, but they provide a handy link to get liquid player. like I need/want another player. that has downloaded easily enough, but the two free tracks they offer appear impossible to get, regardless of my browser, at 0420 CDT (-0600). Someone here said earlier that they know Gaz's stance on mp3's. I must confess ignorance as to this stance. enlightenment is out there. np: Orbital - The Middle of Nowhere cheers, -- Cyberspace Buddha /(0\ What's on, your mind? mailto:cb@silverchat.com \1)/ http://silverchat.com/~cb notelnet://silverchat.com ------------------------------ End digest@garynuman.info Digest [01/31/2002 18:01] --------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- T H E G A R Y N U M A N D I G E S T is produced, moderated, and distributed by Derek Langsford, Dave Datta, and Joey Lindstrom dlangs@sunstroke.sdsu.edu, davdat@allmusic.com, Joey@GaryNuman.Info ------------------------------------------------------------------- To reply to the messages in this list, email: digest@garynuman.info If you want to be removed, or someone wants to be added, email: listserv@GaryNuman.info and include this line as the first line of your message body: SUBSCRIBE digest@garynuman.info (email address) or UNSUBSCRIBE digest@garynuman.info (email address) (email address is optional but useful if you have multiple addresses) If you want to switch between receiving Digests or individual posts, again send to listserv@GaryNuman.Info and include either of these in your message body: NORMAL digest@garynuman.info or DIGEST digest@garynuman.info ------------------------------------------------------------------ Please note: this mailing list is configured to automatically unsubscribe you if mail to your mailbox goes undeliverable for any reason.
