Still alive and well Hansi, thanks for asking! :-) I'm still in touch with Mark, who now runs BC Sweet, playing songs by 70s glam group The Sweet (http://www.bcsweet.co.uk). I'm contributing to the latest in a line of Numan cover albums, as part of a project called CORE, which promises to be a bit different. Roger who was in YTDS with us is also part of the CORE project. More info on that (and some downloads of work in progress) is available at www.headsounds.com. Other than that, I've just been recording bits and pieces at home since YTDS broke up - a few MP3s are available at my page on the electromancer website - http://www.electromancer.com/Artists/PhilMarsh/index.htm YTDS played their first gig in Jan 1987 and went on for a couple of years (roughly). We put out a tape, rather than a cd (CD production was way more expensive in those days!) which had all the songs from our first gig on; seemed to go down well with Numan fans at the time anyway. Hope this helps! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2002 16:53:10 -0500 From: Michael Tressler Subject: Off Topic: AFOS CDs Fellow Numanoids, I've been looking at stores and internet sites, with no luck, for A Flock of Seagulls second and third albums on CD, titled Listen and The Story of A Young Heart. I have seen these up for auction on ebay but the bidding has been anywhere from $30 to $120 (I guess they're out of print and are hard to find). So first off, if anyone has these and wants to make some extra cash, try selling them on ebay. Second, and the reason for this mail, if someone on this list does own one or both of these discs, would you be willing to burn a copy for a few bucks? I know this sounds cheap of me (although I would willingly pay up to $10 per disc, and as Joey pointed out, I already own these albums on vinyl so I'm not really stealing anything), but I can't find them otherwise except ebay, and I truly won't pay/can't afford to pay the prices they're going for. Let me know, on or off the digest.
