Anyone have an idea what "more roche five than pain" from My Shadow In Vain is supposed to mean? "Roche" is a English company that make a generic anti-depressent called "valium", Roche 5 is the term used for Valium 5mg 2. Where can one find Gary's revised version of "Friends" that he played live on the Exile tour, if it's even available on CD? there are loads of versions knocking around, the main one seems to be from the live session on the old VH1 program called "The Bridge". there are some good quality MP3's about of this. Ask of the AFE? Net forum. Some one will send it to you. There are NO studio versions of the tune. Only Live and The Bridge efforts. 3. Is it just my bad memory, or does the song Pure sounds similar to that new version of "Friends"? (ok, so that's three things...) Yeppers, it's the same tune. First it was Friends, then the Friends lyrics with the Pure tune....then the Pure lyrics came alone. easy!! There isn't actually a pill manufactured called roche 5 so it is a play on words. I may have got this totally wrong so don't take it as gospel, but that's how I always interpretted it. Jay > > 1. Walters" Subject: Fan remixes Is anyone on this list interested in remixes and/or extended versions of Numan songs done by a fan? Most recently I have redone Pure and Listen To My Voice. If anyone is interested, let me know. I'd like some input. And, since this is the most critical bunch I've ever had the pleasure to converse, I know I'll get honest opinions. If I suck at this, I'd like to know so I can quit wasting so much time. The intention is to supply a local DJ with these versions - to get Numan in people's heads. So it's geared more toward a dance crowd, I guess. This is NOT like most remixes... For the most part, I've simply chopped up the original songs and put them back differently. In at least one case, I've added extra material - but it is Numan material, not mine. If interested, let me know. I'll see what I can do to make them available. Troy L. Gary had said that they gave him Librium in school, it was stamped with the drug co.'s name and dosage, in this case, made by Roche and in 5 mg. 1. Anyone have an idea what "more roche five than pain" from My Shadow In Vain is supposed to mean? He redid the music, then decided to redo the lyrics. Is it just my bad memory, or does the song Pure sounds similar to that new version of "Friends"?
