It made the hotlist of next week for Studio Brussels (alternative popular radio station, nationwide with 10% penetration), which means they will play it 5 times a day. I also already hear several acknowledgements for Gary when announcing the song. On BBC Ceefax, as of page 580 or 560 I'm not sure, there was an acknowledgement where it is stated that Gary wrote some catchy hooks (referring to Armand Van Helden and Basement Jaxx). And, the song is brilliant! Great to hear Numan everywhere again. > Just like the old times! Straight in at Number One! I think it's a brilliant track - puts dire covers like 'Koochy' and 'Where's your head at' to shame. It really is true to the original, with the same synth sound, while adding excellent vocal overlays. I'm not sure why Gary is transparently trying to distance himself from this release - in any language it's an excellent pop song and I'm sure the royalties will do him - and BB - no harm at all. To hear those familiar opening chords at number one, 23 years after the original, is quite something...
