Would be nice if it went a lot higher. There's a Gary Numan website? When did THAT happen? (Just kidding.) Okay, okay, I've been properly chastened. Clearly I've been derelict in my numanoid duties. I have foresaken the World of Nu. Guilty. [In my defense, I have a painfully slow computer. It's a discard a friend gave me (after my old one sputtered and died) when he upgraded some years ago, and it can barely handle getting emails. It can only take me to the simplest of web sites. So I'm afraid I just can't visit NuWorld at all anymore, unless I want to spend half and hour downloading each page. Admittedly, it's an excuse.] Thanks for the info anyway, Ziggy & Dave! So it sounds like he's "Dominion Day"ing us again. Well, I guess that's okay, but I hope it doesn't mean he's completely given up on b-sides! So, uh... nobody knows anything about a US release or contract? (Don't hit!) > To really celebrate, why didn't they put out a triple CD > featuring EVERY SINGLE (in chronological order) that > Gary has released - That's too bad thru RIP... > this then would truly have been a definitive compilation > worthy of celebrating 25 years in the business. > What does everyone else think? Definitely would have been a better package, Dave. Or... how about a set to dovetail with the 'Premier Hits' that so many people already have? Call it 'Encore Hits' or 'Successor Hits' to play on the 'Premier' title. All the singles since then: disc one: 1) Berserker 2) My Dying Machine 3) Change Your Mind 4) Your Fascination 5) Call Out The Dogs 6) Miracles 7) This Is Love 8) I Can't Stop 9) New Thing From London Town 10) I Still Remember 11) Radio Heart 12) All Across The Nation 13) London Times disc two: 1) New Anger 2) America 3) No More Lies 4) I'm On Automatic 5) Voices 6) Heart 7) My World Storm 8) Emotion 9) The Skin Game 10) Machine & Soul 11) Like A Refugee (I Won't Cry) 12) A Question Of Faith 13) Absolution 14) Dominion Day 15) Rip Oh, look at that. I guess that's why they didn't put together a package like that. No one would buy it. I woke up real early this morning to watch the part of the World Cup Opening Ceremony plus actually see the first half of the France-Senegal game opener.. got to half-time with the commercials... Then some Cup highlights came on with interviews with players from around the world... with background music playing all along and Lo and Behold a measure or two from "ME!" in a rapped up version but verrry noticeable played! Called in the wife (Deana) as I was jumping up and down .. and said WOW! Numan Music spot of the Day The television "LIVE" schedule for the World Cup in the chicagoland area (central time) really sucks. all the games are in the wee hours of the morning! My final four picks are Brazil, Argentina, Italy and France (even though Senegal beat them this morning). Joe Abell (a world cup fanatic in america... where no one cares!!! grrrrrr . . go figure!)
