That's roughly one in fourteen, so paring a singles poll >down from that, one in fourteen out of 47 singles (that we're now up to, and >counting) would be... actually just three-ish. But five is a nicer, rounder I take it, then, that in your song count, you're not counting any of the material from the "Human" album? I agree that most of those tracks are way too short to be called "songs", yet some of them are longish and stand-alone instrumental numbers that could easily have fit in on some of his other albums of the time. For example, "The Unborn" (theme to the movie) should probably qualify as a "song". If not, then perhaps we also shouldn't count "River", "Survival", etc. At what point do we draw the line? :-) / From the desk of Joey Lindstrom / / "Children are naive - they trust everyone. I know I've seen a video for this track and I don't think Complex was released over there. Also whats the general feeling about Artful records. I'd have to say that they are giving Gary the best exposure that any rcord label have done for years. Certainly much better than Eagle were. Remember the fiasco they did with the release of Dominion Day. Also Pure should have been a much bigger success than it was. Anyway my Rip singles and Berserker DVD are winging their way down to me as we speak and I hope will be here before the weekend. The wait has been unbearable. It has been far too long since I've heard any word about the remasters for two of Gary's Best albums. I transferred them to a digital medium a long time ago and even did some production work on them to make the cd's sound professional, but I'm dying to have a legitimate copy complete with one of those brilliant Steve Malins essays and lots of extra artwork. Last I heard, the remasters were done, but were currently waiting for layout to be finished. Once that is done though, I was under the impression they were waiting for the opportune release date, to avoid conflicts with various Numan comps. Is this all correct here? Am I missing anything? Seems to me now would be a perfect time to release the cd's, since no new comps have been out for some time. Anyone out there with any idea what's going on? -Mark V.
