Hi all...

The US LP of Telekon has only IDYD on it......both Sleep by Windows and We Are Glass are not on it.....in fact, I  never heard of We Are Glass until the White Noise LP came out and then didn't know about Sleep By Windows until some time later!  Fortunately, the US remastered Telekon CD has all the goodies on it :)

Can't wait until the I Assassin and Warriors CD remasters finally survace.....been a long time waiting, haven't we?

"I Die You Die" was on the original US release, last track on Side One (remember those flat black plastic things?). "We Are Glass" and "Sleep By Windows" were not. :) -- _______________________ obscure@blueneptune.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 08 Sep 2002 22:38:59 -0700 From: Rod Reynolds Subject: Rip cd on eBay (shameless plug) Hey. A while back when I ordered the Rip cds from HMV in the UK they accidentally sent me two copies of cd#1 and none of #2. I decided that rather than pay to send the one back, I would put it on eBay so there it is (#905722327) pretty much for exactly what I paid for it. I also have some other Numan items, including the Question of Faith cd (905711327) and some UK and US7" singles with pic sleeves (more to come). I have hundreds of items on eBay every week, trying to clear out some of the rubble that is the home in which I live. If you're interested, log onto http://pages.ebay.com/search/items/basicsearch.html and under 'sellers' search for rocketmanla Lots of other great (and some not so great) stuff including Marc Almond, Green Apple Quick Step, Icehouse, Blur, Cibo Matto, Elvis Costello, Kraftwerk, Suede, the Vines, ABBA, Kylie Minogue, the Carpenters, Donna Summer, Manhattan Transfer, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Aimee Mann, Pet Shop Boys and more. With much more (lord, so much more) to come. Got to pay for that brand new truck (2002 Ford Explorer sport) somehow!! Rod Los Angeles, CA ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Sep 2002 11:38:21 +0100 From: "Peter \(BY\)" Subject: B-sides and more Best B-sides (belatedly!): 1. I Don't Believe 2. I Sing Rain 3. My Car Slides 4. Time to Die 5. Noise Noise And I'll start off the list for WORST tracks: 1. Rip 2. Telekon 3. Poison 4. Replicas (album version - the live version is brilliant) 5. U Got the Look Sorry, but I think Rip is truly dreadful - simply not my type of music AT ALL. Some of the Pure album I quite like, but I await the next album with trepidation. The last Numan album that caused me to stop buying his stuff was Outland - 10 years later it might be Pure. Best collaborative tracks: 1. Sailor in Love with the Sea (probably the best track Numan's ever sung on ANYWHERE in my opinion!) 2. Love Needs No Disguise (Dramatis) 3. Like A Refugee (Da Da Dang) 4. Change Your Mind (Sharpe and Numan) 5. Radio Heart (Radio Heart - sorry, but I LIKE Radio Heart!) (Thinks...this should set the cat amongst the pigeons!)
