Walters" Subject: New remix - "Always" Hello all, Thanks to MadMax for the kind words. And, just to clarify... not only do I not make money from any of them, I've lost money - and been ridiculed for the sake of Numan. Also, I purposely create "crappy" quality files for posting on the web. What you hear is not exactly how they sound. I'm not interested in comments on the sound quality or volume levels... It's nice to hear nice things said about you. But all I do, basically, is rearrange existing material. I rarely, if ever add anything that isn't Numan. So, I'm interested in comments (good and bad) about the structure! Do you like how the song has been cut up and rearranged? Now... all that said: I have posted a new song: http://troywalters.fshs1981.org/mp3/ I am calling the song Always - simply because it has no name that I'm aware of. It is intro music used on the Purified interview CD. I lifted it, cut it up, mixed it up a bit and even went as far as to make some unique modifications. It is posted as a wma file and is just under 1 meg in size. This group has never had problems posting their feelings about any subject - especially music related. So, I ask that anyone and everyone give it a listen and let me know what you honestly think about the structure of the song. Is it something you like? Is it conceivable that Numan himself would have done something similar? Do you think I suck at remixing? I would like to know. Thank you all for your input - those who have, and those who surely will. Troy L. I had a listern to the remix's done by Troy last and i must take my hat off to him, very good. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Voting has tapered off (as in stopped cold) on the favorite b's poll, which probably means that whoever wanted to submit their entry in the poll has done so. If that's the case, the next step is to close it out, tally it up, and report the results. Before we do that, though, we should give the procrastinators a last chance to vote. Just like last time, we didn't set a cut-off date, so it wouldn't be fair to just shut it down now without warning. So let's say we'll keep it open through the weekend for anybody who's just been agonizing about choosing her or his favorite b's. If we get deluged with responses, so that it looks like a lot of people still want to take part, then we can keep it open longer, but otherwise... get those entries in this weekend!
