As a matter of fact, I would be flattered if = I were Gary. You are extending his creations. I was watching several = interviews with him that I downloaded last night, and I think he is = happy that there has been a resurgence in interest in him. Not just = because it pays the bills (flying and fast cars aren't cheap, y'know), = but it shows an appreciation for his life's work. One thing I don't = agree with him on is Gary's attitude towards his older stuff, he = basically feels it is in the past and he has moved on. Maybe so, but = that shouldn't distract from the fact that his earlier work is excellent = and that is being recognized. As for MP3 or WMA files, they are of less quality than a WAV file that = you find on a CD, but that is because they are also quite smaller. = Sure, some "audiophiles" can detect the difference, and yes I also = realize there is some degradation, but I am not listening for that. I = am hearing your spin on Gary's music, and I see it as complimentary. = Sure, there are some Numan-interpretations that I don't care for (e.g. = many of the songs on Random II, unlike Random I which I did like a = majority of the songs), but we all have the right to like/dislike = things. If we weren't different than we would all be listening to = Brittany Spears! Bottom line, Troy, I for one like you remixes, the latest, Always, is = pretty good as well. Keep up the good work and let us know when you = create another one! Cheers!
