OK, For me, I think that colaborations and covers should be Seperate. This would also then allow non athorized covers etc.. secondly, has anyone seen or heard this before? A single by David Bunny clearly poking fun at Gary. A charicature drawing on the cover in the Telekon outfit, holding a mirror, balding, with what looks like a plane about to fly up his bare bottom. I would be interested in hearing it, but I do not think I would like to lay the cash out for this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=911407391 So, hint hint, if anyone has a copy of this, in oh say MP3 format, let me know! Please! Mark Hubbard ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Oct 2002 08:38:13 +0100 From: "Vickers" Subject: double votes No, Joey, it wasn't your fault. It was absolutely clear. It's just that trying to compare Nancy Boy trying to be Gary with Gary trying to be Prince involves a lot of divided loyalties and mixed emotions. I, for one, would be able to submit to the two categories, but haven't been able to get my head round the original mish-mash - mixes, remixes, covers by Gary, covers of Gary, songs with Gary, Gary on keyboards, TV adverts, etc. Paddy Vickers ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Oct 2002 10:18:11 +0200 From: "Hansi Slanec" Subject: Combined Voting Joey set the rules, and thats ok. Here is the combined voting: 1, Yangtse Tong - AFE 2, Aaron Clague - Nighttalk 3, The 6th - Sailor in Love with the Sea 4, Linientreu - Sind Freunde Elektrisch? 5, Robert Palmer - Style Kills Anyway, it would be fun to have an extra poll of covers and collaborations and remixes (which i think are running in the current poll also). That would give us the chance to run the poll thing a bit further on. Hope ou like the idea. Uh...I have no idea which are the collaborations and which are the covers. So if someone wants to make a list....?
