The only way I can play is if I get my car going / really fast, and stick it out the window. I've been arrested three / times for practicing. I put a new engine in my car, but forgot to take / the old one out. Now my car goes 500 miles per hour. The harmonica / sounds AMAZING. / --Steven Wright ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Oct 2002 08:12:05 +0000 From: "Ian Blair" Subject: control tower dialogue I'm sure I'll be one of a hundred others responding to this query, but the track with the control tower dialogue mixed in could be "My Centurion" from Warriors (love this track). But I'm sure there are less subtle control tower effects on many of Numans other tracks???? On a different subject, do "I Know Whodunnit" by the Barron Knights and "In Bars" by the Damned count for this covers poll? And if I belch the riff from "Are Friends Electric" and stick a loop of it on a website, does that count? Sorry, but I suggest we just start voting and assume that anything that could be vaguely described as a cover version counts. If someone hasn't heard something, then they won't be able to vote for it. What's wrong with that? I'm sure that some people who voted in the B-sides poll hadn't heard every song on the list.
