Anderson" Subject: Adams.. family? This thought just occurred to me... were Gary's girlfriends from the 80's Michelle Adams and Tracy Adams related? It would be quite a bit more intertesting if they were sisters, rivalling for his affections. Perhaps my soap opera idea is far from the truth, but I was curious if anyone knew. -Mark V. Anderson Oh wait, one note on the remasters. I thought, not to disparage Gary, but the remasters were done poorly. There's A LOT more hiss on the CD's than even on my vinyl versions. I also thought the remastering made "I, Assassin" much too bright. I always liked how it was mixed with such a murky bottom end to it. "Warriors" overall sounds better, but the hiss is still very much a problem. "Poetry and Power" is different from at least my 12" vinyl version. A lot more chorus on the saxophones... -actually done now, Mark _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 limited-time offer: Join now and get 3 months FREE*. http://join.msn.com/?page=dept/dialup&xAPID=42&PS=47575&PI=7324&DI=7474&SU= http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/getmsg&HL=1216hotmailtaglines_newmsn8ishere_3mf ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Dec 2002 07:53:44 EST From: jtolva@aol.com Subject: Gary Numan discography All, I just updated the Gary Numan discography with lots of information I've been gathering for a while now. I've started calling some items "Tribute CDs" to differentiate them from the loads of compilation albums over the years. I also put the recent Beggars Banquet reissues of "I Assassin" and "Warriors" in there, as well as "Exposure: The Best Of Gary Numan 1977-2002" from Artful Records. For the collector out there, you might notice the unofficial 1998 release of the fan tribute CD called "Playing To The Aliens". You might recall this one as the previously named "Random 3" project by Klaus Sauer of Germany. I'm not sure how many copies of this CD were pressed, but it's definitely a limited release. I also put in the track listing for the upcoming "Scarred" double live CD by Eagle Records, and Gary's two upcoming 25th anniversay gig dates in the tour section. Enjoy!
